Producers, Consumers, and Decomposers
The consumers of the tundra biome include arctic wolves, polar bears, snowy owls, arctic foxes, muskoxen, caribou, lemmings, and arctic hares. Some producers are grass, moss, and lichens. Decomposers are bacteria and fungi. Here is a food web of the different levels, and what eats what. Arctic wolves, polar bears, and snowy owls are at the top. Arctic foxes are in the middle. Muskoxen, caribou, lemmings, and arctic hares eat producers and are eaten by a number of animals.
